Mountain bike suspension requires technicians with a deep understanding of all suspension technology working closely with leading manufactures like Fox racing and RockShox, Henry technicians stay up to date all service and tuning training on the latest cutting edge suspension technology. This allows almost all suspension service work to be done in house with the availability of factory reworks as well. SHIMANO Di2 DIAGNOSTICS, FIRMWARE UPDATES & SERVICE

With Shimano’s proprietary Di2 diagnostic equipment on site, we will ensure you have the most up to date firmware installed in your bikes Di2 memory chips. We will ensure that your Di2 bike shifts precisely all the time, just the way Shimano designed it to!   With inhouse electrical specialists that constantly work on Shimano Di2, you can be rest assured Hendry Cycles are the store to take your Shimano Di2 equipped bike for analysis and service.

BIKE FITTING SERVICE

Once upon a time, if you could stand over a bike, then it fit. Fortunately, that’s not how we carry out our dedicated fittings. Anyone that tells you that your bicycle can be optimally fit with very few measurements or by dropping information into a formula based computer program is either woefully uninformed or just trying to sell you something quickly.
Bike fit is about the union between rider and bicycle to achieve the most comfortable , efficient, safe and powerful riding position possible. A professional bike fitting will enhance you cycling experience. When you go through the fitting process at Hendry Cycles a lot happens before you are on the fitting station. We take time to understand your individual needs, goals, background, injury history and your own unique requirement. Throughout the process, you and your fitter will evaluate what works. Fitting a Bicycle to a rider based on a structurally sound and biomechanically refined rider position takes time and requires that the details of your individual rider profile are considered from a scientific and of course a wholistic perspective.
The bike fitting protocol and methodology we utilise is based in proven biomechanical assessment techniques that have been developed to address the specific needs of any cyclist or triathlete. Physical therapists, aerodynamicists, doctors, exercise kineseologists and chiropractors are just a few of the people that are involved in the development of the fitting processes we utilise. It is our goal to not only help you discover and build foundation on your optimal riding position, but to also provide you with the insight and knowledge necessary to understand how your body functions while on the bike and how it effects the cycling componentry you choose.

As an observation, the crazy-hectic lives we lead sometimes makes it difficult to find the time to spend on the things that matter, particularly in the area of health and fitness. As a way of trying to break the cycle, we offer a personal bicycle delivery service that extends locally, to Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat and beyond. Not to mention some absolutely ripping deals on overnight delivery on parts and accessories all over the country.

Check  our wide range of components and accessories to see some of the brands and products we recommend. Whilst most people prefer to spend the time in store to gaze at all the shiny machines, some already know the model, size, stem length – the works! All that is left is being fitted to the bike at your home with our mobile bike fitting service .
For bike purchases over $1,000, it’s free.

BIKE RENTAL

With 24hrs notice, you and the family can have access to the Hendry Cycles rental fleet to make the weekend that little more active, or just to add a little more scenery into your holiday. We have sizes and types to suit most general needs, but be sure and book early to secure your ride in the warmer months! Basic Bike hire is $25 for a 24 hour period. Helmet and lock are also $5 for the rental time.

BIKE BOX RENTAL

Most decent bike boxes are upward of four and five hundred dollars if you are looking for a hard resin / polymer outfit to protect a decent bike. For some, travel is infrequent and the expense may be unjustified.
From $55 a week you can hire a bigfoot or Scicon bike box to protect your favourite bike. The bigfoot does not require the removal of the rear wheel and the Scicon has secure positions for both wheels adjacent to the frame.
If you would like to have it properly packed, we inspect the bike and wrap it in cotton wool for $39. Your existing position is marked and we’ll run you through the assembly at the other end.
For other travellers, we also offer a packing service in a bike manufacturer cardboard box (still the most popular version of travel) . Frame protected with foam wrapping, fork bracket, zipped tied like a pro. We’ll also show you how to re-assemble at the other end. Cost $39

LAYBYES & FINANCE

Hendry Cycles offer laybuy terms up to 3mths in Duration. Exceptional Circumstances can often extend this. G.E. finance is also offered and is a well known program with achievable qualifications.From road bike sale of Trek Madone, Focus bikes etc..we have payment options to suit.
